(Program for Young Adults 17-20+)
Participants
and leaders in this innovative young adult program come together
to form a community that combines study of the Cayce readings, spiritual
growth, and a healthy life style. Every day our group will consider
at least one Edgar Cayce reading in its entirety. Through the readings
we will explore topics such as philosophy, faith and values. Our
daily schedule will include meditation, dream work, exercise, and
a healthy diet. The program will also include crafts such as tie-dye,
batik, and candle making and sports like volleyball, capture-the-flag,
and soccer.
We will reside in the Big House which is ideally situated to give us access to all sorts of exciting activities like hiking on the Appalachian Trail, rock climbing on top of White Rock, or canoeing out at Hungry Mother State Park. We may even find our way to Grayson Highlands, home of wild ponies, blueberries, and Mount Rogers, the highest mountain in Virginia.
No familiarity with the Edgar Cayce readings is needed! All
that's required is an inquisitive mind and plenty of enthusiasm.
