Family and Youth Activities Teen Youth Congress Register for Teen Congress
Teen Youth Congress is for young people ages 13 to 17. For one week, teens will reside in a house near the A.R.E. Headquarters - one right off of the beach! During this week, you or your teenager will experience: dream work, meditation, theatre games, massage and a lot of nature time: walks on the beach and in Seashore State Park, and even a Dolphin Cruise!! The youth will once again host the annual Talent Show! The group will get to attend and participate in some of the adult conference, but will also get to visit and work more closely with some popular A.R.E. staff and speakers. We will also spend some time in SERVICE - Making our annual trek to a local nursing home in cooperation with The Citizen's Committee to Protect the Elderly, and hosting a Spaghetti Dinner and a Breakfast to help with youth scholarships and tuition.
Finally, we can't forget to mention a favorite yearly tradition: The Friday Night Social! Both the Youth and Adult Congress join together to eat, drink and be merry as we celebrate another year of fellowship and dance the night away! For more information, contact |
