Edgar
Cayce Euro Congress
August 26th - 28th 2005 in Copenhagen, Denmark
|
The 5th EuroCongress
will be held in wonderful Copenhagen in August 2005. We
have booked a
hotel in the centre of Copenhagen just 10 minutes walk from
the City Town Hall, Tivoli and the Central Station.
The hotel is
situated next to one of the small lakes in Copenhagen, which
actually were part of the medieval moats that were once
part of the defence of Copenhagen. If you want to know more
about the hotel, you can visit their homepage on:
www.cabinn.com click on: Scandinavia
The congress
will start Friday afternoon and close again Sunday afternoon
(August 26th - 28th.) Saturday evening we plan a dinner
in Tivoli for those who are interested. We will also arrange
sightseeing trips those who are interested. We have booked
the hotel from Wednesday evening (24th.)
On Thursday 25th
we plan a bus-tour in Copenhagen to see the Queens palace
Amalienborg, The Little Mermaid and Hamlets Castle Kronborg
in Elsinore, North of Copenhagen.
Friday
morning you can attend a canal-tour in the harbour. The
costs of the sightseeing tours and the Tivoli dinner will
be accounted for separately.
We are looking
forward to meet again with Jeanette M. Thomas from Virginia
Beach, USA. She was the Midwife who helped get the association
started in 1995. We have asked Jeanette to give lectures
on different Cayce topics through the Congress.
The main language
of the conference will be English but like previous years,
there will be a few lectures in German. For any language
though - we will provide the necessary translation into
Danish, German, French and English.
The Danish group
are very happy to be the organisers of the congress. It
is always a wonderful experience to be together with Cayce
people. We are looking forward to see you all again, and
hope that we can match the standards of the earlier congresses,
even if Copenhagen has just been nominated the 7th most
expensive city in the world.
NB!
In 2005 we celebrate two important anniversaries in Denmark.
Hans Christian Andersen, the writer of fairytales 200th birthday
and the Danish Edgar Cayce Society is now 10 years old !
