Large Circle at South Bimini Is Manmade Below is a photo of the mysterious 200-foot circle extracted from our video footage taken over Bimini in April 2003. The circle is elevated above the surrounding area causing the breakers to form on it. We utilized K & B EZ Dive to investigate the formation. We found a broken brick embedded about 18-inches inside the sand near the center of the circle. The brick was sent off for chemical and X-Ray testing. The circle appears to have been formed when a load of modern building materials was dumped there after 1950. |
