49th Annual Seabeck

Your Soul’s Passage Through Time
Reincarnation, Hypnosis,
and the Power of Your Mind
with Barbara Lane, PhD

Souls Passage 2014 Seabeck Dock 2014The Annual A.R.E. Seabeck Retreat combines physical, mindful, and spirit-filled activities with amazing adventures that enliven, refresh, and encourage self-confidence and self-expression. The Seabeck Conference Center is one of the most beautiful places on earth, immersing you in gorgeous landscapes and giving rise to a variety of activities to spark your senses, revitalize your body, and soothe your soul. Inspirational talks, expert instruction, creative activities, and delicious meals round out each retreat.

Every year people from all walks of life gather in an open, nonjudgmental environment to explore spirituality, different world philosophies, and principles contained in the Edgar Cayce readings.

Forested and overlooking the stunning Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains, Seabeck is a rustic, restful, and inspirational setting. Housing and structures are all set in a 19th-century decor with an old schoolhouse, original inn, and rustic turn-of-the-century cabins. The conference grounds include a private lagoon, expansive lawns, and lush forests with hiking trails. In addition to the natural setting and conference activities, join us at this great retreat as we uncover Your Soul’s Passage Through Time: Reincarnation, Hypnosis, and the Power of Your Mind with Barbara Lane, PhD.

During this experiential program you will:
  • Find the source of your motivations, as well as any emotional blockages, from your past
  • Experience how your soul’s history has imprinted your personal present
  • Discover your own past-life clues and contact your guides who might help you with your quest
  • Learn how to tap into the co-creative power of your subconscious mind
  • Reframe current life issues to create positive outcomes and behaviors
  • Understand how combining hands-on healing with the power of suggestion can help bring about spontaneous healing
  • Find out how to write—or rewrite—your own life script and discover the power of your own voice’s vibration

Find the “road map to your subconscious mind” and explore “your soul’s history” as you learn to create real and lasting changes to your current life. Join Barbara Lane, PhD as she walks along with you step-by-step to transform your mind, body, and soul as you experience higher levels of awareness.

SALMON BAKE DINNER (June 28)

Salmon Bake 2014A tasty Seabeck tradition! Enjoy a delicious baked salmon dinner on the shore of the private lagoon.

SOIREE DINNER AND TALENT SHOW (June 30)

Soiree Dinner 2014Join us for our Come as You Were Soiree Dinner. It’s a chance to pull out your favorite costumes and wear them once more. It is wacky, outrageous, and light-hearted fun. Come prepared with a costume or make one up when you arrive. If you would rather not dress-up, that is fine too. On the final evening of the retreat, adults and youth alike will have the opportunity to express their creativity and show their talents in the annual talent show. This entertaining extravaganza offers music, skits, drama, dance, and most of all, fun. So if you sing, play an instrument, have an idea for a skit, or can tell a joke, come and let your talent shine in front of a supportive crowd.

VOLUNTEER WORKSHOPS

Dance Seabeck 2014Every year our own Seabeck group of attendees share their amazing gifts by volunteering to do free workshops. Ideas for workshops include dreams, dowsing, reiki, hypnotherapy, nutrition, yoga on the beach, and more. Leaders/facilitators, please keep in mind that these workshops are freely offered and are not intended to make a profit. You will be allowed to have business cards and brochures available during your workshop for your attendees. Inside space is limited. Sign-up sheets will be at the registration table; those with the most signups will be assigned a space.

YOUTH PROGRAM

Mission Statement:
Learn and Grow While Making Friends and Having Fun.

Children CircleYouth ages six to eighteen are eligible for a very special program. Participating youth will be housed in the Tamarack, supervised by their coordinators. Daily activities include boating, hiking, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, and drama. The program also features personal development coaching and introduces spiritual concepts, such as meditation and dream interpretation.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their children during free time between noon and 4 p.m. Parents wishing to attend afternoon workshops should make arrangements for their children during those times. Children’s free time does not conflict with lectures. Youth not participating in the Youth Program may register as adults.

Kids ages 3 to 5 will have a coordinator available to assist parents in arranging child-minding with one another. Please advise the registrar if you are interested in taking part. These youth will continue to be housed with their parents.

VOLUNTEERS

Your help is needed for activities. Donating a few hours of your time to assist the all-volunteer staff is a great way to meet people and enhance your Seabeck experience. Please email Claudia Schoonveld at cjschoonveld999@hotmail.com to find out how you can help.
