Your Soul’s Passage Through Time
and the Power of Your Mind
with Barbara Lane, PhD
The Annual A.R.E. Seabeck Retreat
combines physical, mindful, and spirit-filled activities with
amazing adventures that enliven, refresh, and encourage
self-confidence and self-expression. The Seabeck Conference
Center is one of the most beautiful places on earth,
immersing you in gorgeous landscapes and giving rise to
a variety of activities to spark your senses, revitalize your
body, and soothe your soul. Inspirational talks, expert
instruction, creative activities, and delicious meals round
out each retreat.
Every year people from all walks of life
gather in an open, nonjudgmental environment to explore spirituality, different world
philosophies, and principles contained in the Edgar Cayce readings.
Forested and overlooking the stunning Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains, Seabeck is a rustic,
restful, and inspirational setting. Housing and structures are all set in a 19th-century decor with an
old schoolhouse, original inn, and rustic turn-of-the-century cabins. The conference grounds include
a private lagoon, expansive lawns, and lush forests with hiking trails. In addition to the natural setting
and conference activities, join us at this great retreat as we uncover Your Soul’s Passage Through
Time: Reincarnation, Hypnosis, and the Power of Your Mind with Barbara Lane, PhD.

Come prepared with a costume or make one up when you arrive. If
you would rather not dress-up, that is fine too. On the final evening
of the retreat, adults and youth alike will have the opportunity to
express their creativity and show their talents in the annual talent
show. This entertaining extravaganza offers music, skits, drama,
dance, and most of all, fun. So if you sing, play an instrument, have
an idea for a skit, or can tell a joke, come and let your talent shine
in front of a supportive crowd.

Leaders/facilitators, please keep in mind that these workshops are

Learn and Grow
While Making Friends and Having Fun.
Youth ages six to eighteen are eligible for a very special program.
Participating youth will be housed in the Tamarack, supervised by
their coordinators. Daily activities include boating, hiking, swimming,
sports, arts and crafts, and drama. The program also features
personal development coaching and introduces spiritual concepts,
such as meditation and dream interpretation.
Parents/guardians are responsible for their children during free
time between noon and 4 p.m. Parents wishing to attend afternoon
workshops should make arrangements for their children during those
times. Children’s free time does not conflict with lectures. Youth not
participating in the Youth Program may register as adults.
Kids ages 3 to 5 will have a coordinator available to assist
parents in arranging child-minding with one another. Please advise
the registrar if you are interested in taking part. These youth will
continue to be housed with their parents.
Your help is needed for activities. Donating a few hours of your time
to assist the all-volunteer staff is a great way to meet people and
enhance your Seabeck experience. Please email Claudia Schoonveld
at email@example.com to find out how you can help.
