REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
	PREREADING OF COURSE TEXT — it is highly recommended that students pre-read the course text Clinical Hypnotherapy: A Transpersonal Approach in preparation for the on-site training. The second required text is Script Magic. Both texts may be purchased through either the A.R.E. Bookstore by calling 800-333-4499, ext. 7231, or through NATH. The NATH Training Manual, which is given to students on the first day of class, makes it easy for students to follow the course. Call NATH at 800-296-6463 for more information.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION *
	ATTENDANCE during the course—in the event of absence, it is the student's responsibility to locate assignments and class information. Students should bring a cassette recorder with a tie clip microphone. if any portion of the class is missed, students must purchase and listen to course tapes as makeup. 80% attendance is required.

	RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT—a short book report of three to five pages on a subject area of the student's choosing related to hypnotherapy is required, and is due within 30 days of course completion.

	IN-CLASS ASSIGNMENTS—due same day or next day.

	FINAL EXAM—an open-book exam is distributed on the first day, and is due on the last day of class. The exam must be passed with a score of 80% or higher. Students may download the exam for advance review at www.holistictree.com/CHtTest.
	* Students who have completed scholastic requirements may receive their certificates at the end of class, or it will be mailed to them. If you live in Indiana, New Jersey, or Washington, please contact NATH at 800-296-MIND regarding certification or advertising issues in these states. After receiving certification, students may use "CHt" or "Certified Hypnotherapist" after their name.
