Location
Seabeck is located on the east shore of Hood Canal near Silverdale, an hour-and-a-half drive from Seattle with a ferry crossing at Bremerton, Winslow, or Edmonds/Kingston.

From Tacoma From Interstate 5 take Highway 16 westbound to Highway 3 northbound. Exit Highway 3 at the Newberry Hill Road exit and turn left onto Newberry Hill Road. When you come to a "T" in the road, turn right onto Seabeck Highway. Follow the signs to Seabeck Conference Center (estimated travel time from Tacoma: 1 hour depending on traffic).

Lodging and Food
Sleeping accommodations are communal, with two or three persons per room, except for those reserved for couples and a limited number of single rooms in the Inn. Bath facilities are shared except for the Spruce building and a few rooms in the Inn. Bed and bath linens are furnished. There are no clocks provided in the rooms. Rooms or roommate requests received before May 28th will be honored in order of receipt and will be subject to availability. If you wish to exclude meat or fish from your diet, please specify Vegetarian. To further exclude dairy, please specify Vegan. Please specify if you have any other special dietary or housing needs.
What to Bring
- Comfortable, casual clothing for all types of weather.
- A warm coat, as the evenings can be brisk.
- A costume, props and musical instruments for the talent show and Soiree, if you plan on doing something.
- White elephants and non-perishable items for our silent auction.
- Alarm clock.
Ground Rules
Regretfully pets are not allowed with the exception of life-assistants. The A.R.E. and Seabeck Christian Conference Center strongly discourage the use of alcoholic beverages during the retreat. There is no smoking in any of the buildings, including sleeping areas. Please do not bring any items to sell. Fee Structure
Tuition includes lodging, meals and tuition to program! The fee structure includes meals from 6:00 p.m. dinner on Friday through lunch on Tuesday. Day rates are available; please contact the registrar for details. Kids: Families with more than two children may subtract $40 for each child after the second child. The Youth will be staying in the Alder this year. Rooms: A limited number of single rooms are available for a surcharge of $60. These go quickly, so register early!
Deposits, Currency, Late Fees
Full payment is due on May 31st. The minimum deposit is $100 per adult. Refunds are available less a $50 processing fee prior to May 31st. Refunds after June 1st will be based on the rate of room cost. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars; Canadian funds (check or cash) cannot be accepted.
Donations to the Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund based on donations enables the retreat to offer limited scholarships to those needing financial aid. For information, contact the HQ registrars. You are invited to donate to this fund and all donations are tax deductible.
