Edgar Cayce on The Evolution of Consciousness with Peter Woodbury, MSW
The Annual A.R.E. Seabeck Retreat is an adventure to refresh your spirit, rekindle your passions, and cultivate balance in your life. This retreat combines physical, mindful, and spirit-filled activities with amazing adventures that enliven, refresh, and encourage self-confidence and self-expression. The Seabeck Conference Center is one of the most beautiful places on earth, immersing you in gorgeous landscapes, and giving rise to a variety of activities to spark your senses, revitalize your body, and soothe your soul. Inspirational talks, expert instruction, and delicious meals, combined with creative activities round out each retreat.
A.R.E. Summer Seabeck allows people from all walks of life to gather in an open, nonjudgmental environment to explore spirituality, different world philosophies, and principles contained in the Edgar Cayce readings. See the “story of your soul” in the bigger picture as you learn to awaken the God pattern within! Peter Woodbury, MSW will guide you to a new understanding of your souls’ path.
During this experiential program, you will have an opportunity to understand:
- The Evolution of Consciousness - Our Soul’s Journey
- Karmystery – Understanding the karmic mystery and chemistry of relationships
- The Universal Laws
- How to Change Your Thinking, to Change Your Life
Forested and overlooking the stunning Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains, Seabeck is a rustic, restful and inspirational setting. Housing and structures are all set in a 19th-century decor with an old schoolhouse, original inn, and rustic turn-of-the-century cabins. The conference grounds include a private lagoon, expansive lawns, and lush forests with hiking trails. In addition to the natural setting and conference activities, join us at this great retreat, as we uncover Edgar Cayce on the Evolution of Consciousness with Peter Woodbury, MSW.
Come join in a stimulating retreat of learning to understand anew our role in the universe.
SHARING GROUPS
These small groups get together to discuss what the speakers have presented, giving everyone a chance to process the information presented at greater depth, sharing ideas and questions, and giving one another a deeper understanding of the topics. There will be opportunities for laughter and friendship as you share your understanding of and insights into the program in a supportive, loving environment. Signup sheets will be at the registration table.
SILENT AUCTION
Please bring your appropriate donations for the silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will support the youth program. Drop off your donations after 3:00 pm on Friday.

SALMON BAKE AND SHOW! (June 29)
After the yearly salmon bake (a wonderful tasty Seabeck tradition), enjoy a special opportunity to experience a lively evening with Peter Woodbury, bringing his renowned first-person portrayal of Edgar Cayce. “Mr. Cayce” will share his personal walk with the Master and share wisdom, insight, and humor through answers to questions from the audience.
SOIREE DINNER AND TALENT SHOW (July 1)
Join us for our Come as You Were Soiree Dinner. It’s a chance to pull out your favorite costumes and wear them once more. It is wacky, outrageous and light-hearted fun. Come prepared with a costume or make one up when you arrive. If you would rather not dress-up, that is fine too. On the final evening of the retreat, adults and youth alike will have the opportunity to express their creativity and show their talents in the annual talent show. This entertaining extravaganza offers music, skits, drama, dance, and most of all, fun. So if you sing, play an instrument, have an idea for a skit, or can tell a joke, come and let your talent shine, in front of a supportive crowd.
VOLUNTEER WORKSHOPS
Every year our own Seabeck group of attendees, share their amazing gifts by volunteering to do free workshops. Ideas for workshops include dreams, dowsing, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, nutrition, yoga on the beach and more. Leaders/facilitators, please keep in mind that these workshops are freely offered and are not intended to make a profit. You will be allowed to have business cards and brochures available during your workshop for your attendees. Inside space is limited. Sign-up sheets will be at the registration table; those with the most signups will be assigned a space.
VOLUNTEERS
Your help is needed for activities. Donating a few hours of your time to assist the all-volunteer staff is a great way to meet people and enhance your Seabeck experience. Please email Claudia Schoonveld to find out how you can help.
