John Van Auken
October 23 - November 19
John Van Auken, a widely recognized expert on the Cayce readings and ancient Egyptian mysticism, is going to take you on a journey using texts and images from the Book of the Dead to help you fully realize your spiritual nature and your ultimate destiny: eternal star beings among the countless stars of heaven. This connection with the Light will brighten your life on Earth, advance your soul growth and higher consciousness, and allow you to be channels of light and love to those you meet and share life with.
The ancient Egyptians were very aware of other realms of life and states of consciousness beyond ours, and wrote a lot about them in the Egyptian Book of the Dead (more correctly translated, The Book of Coming Forth into the Light). The Book of the Dead is a collection of “incantations” even “spells” using power words, secret names and terms, and imagery stories to convey how one makes passage from the physical world to the other realms. The book explains in detail the various challenges one faces in coming forth into the Light of Heaven and among the heavenly beings. It explains that our souls were, are, and will be once again among the heaven beings – and that our life on Earth would be so much better if we only knew and applied these concepts while incarnate and living with others.
John Van Auken is a well-known and well-respected teacher with a skill for making the most esoteric and complex concepts and practices clear and practical – while keeping the magic that is so marvelous to experience firsthand.
John Van Auken is a long-time staff member and Director here at A.R.E. and is one of our most popular and renowned speakers. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including Toward a Deeper Meditation, Ancient Egyptian Mysticism, and Kabbalah: A Resource for Soulful Living.
