New Mobile Apps: Edgar Cayce's "Thought for the Day"
and "Dream Dictionary"

Apps itunes store 2011Virginia Beach, Va. – Edgar Cayce could never have imagined how the information from his psychic readings would be made available to the world today. As part of the commitment to expanding technology and making the Edgar Cayce readings available globally, A.R.E. launched two new apps for iPhone, iPad, and iTouch. The new apps include Edgar Cayce's "Thought for the Day" app and the Edgar Cayce Dream Dictionary, which both further the mission of A.R.E. to help people transform their lives for the better.

The Edgar Cayce "Thought for the Day" app provides a new inspirational thought each day, taken directly from the wisdom imparted by one of the world's greatest psychics, Edgar Cayce. The app allows individuals to carry this wisdom with them and integrate these thoughts into their daily meditation or simply use them to affirm a positive outlook during each day. Some features of this powerful app include the ability to save favorite quotes for future viewing, the ability to share quotes with others through online social media or email, and the ability to access quotes from the last seven days.

The Edgar Cayce Dream Dictionary app provides individuals with tools to successfully and enjoyably work with their dreams. Along with an easy-to-access index of more than 350 dream symbols and interpretations, this app includes tips on remembering and working with dreams and a dream journal, perfect for late-night access or early morning dream memories.

Jennie Taylor Martin, Director of Marketing for A.R.E., shared her thoughts about the new products, "We're so happy to be able to offer our supporters this additional way to connect with A.R.E. We've had such great feedback and hope we can continue to meet the demand and expand our apps. We plan to introduce apps for Android sometime in 2012." Details for both apps are available on EdgarCayce.org/apps.

Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center and Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to our conferences to hear expert speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. A.R.E. also maintains an affiliation with Atlantic University. Through its many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. provides individuals from all walks of life and a variety of religious backgrounds with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels—body, mind, and spirit.
