The Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy
Moves to New Education Center

CR_studentsVirginia Beach, VA October 5, 2012: The Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy, celebrating 25 years of excellence in massage therapy education, moved into the Don and Nancy de Laski Education Center, on the campus of the Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment, in Virginia Beach, Va., August 2012. Situated just off Atlantic Avenue, with stunning ocean views, the 10,000-square-foot ecofriendly facility is home not only to the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy, but also to the Edgar Cayce Foundation and Atlantic University. The school of Massotherapy now boasts larger rooms, new training equipment, and state-of-the-art technology such as Web-enabled ‘smart boards’ in every classroom. The additional space in the new facility allows the school to accept more people into the program thereby graduating more holistic health practitioners than ever before in the school’s history. In an interview with a local TV news program, the Hampton Roads Show, Dawn Hogue, Educational Services Manager, exclaimed, "We feel so blessed for all the generous donors who have made this possible."

As a leader in holistic education, wellness, and healthcare, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy provides quality comprehensive education in both the art and science of therapeutic massage, offering flexible massage therapy certification programs, and weekend workshops. The school prides itself on the uniqueness of its massage curriculum that draws upon the wealth of insights on holism, healing, and personal transformation contained in the Edgar Cayce material and the massage style born out of these concepts by physiotherapist Harold J. Reilly.

Consistently ranked among the top massage schools in the country, the main curriculum offers a very intensive hands-on 700-hour program that includes course work in the sciences, pathology, and business. And, for those considering enrollment, this program is eligible for federal financial aid funds for qualifying participants.

The Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy welcomes visitors to tour the school and/or visit the Student Clinic for services such as massage, reflexology, and facials—all at a very reasonable price. For more information, call 757-457-7270, or visit the school's Web site at Caycereilly.edu.

Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries-all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center and Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to our conferences to hear expert speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. A.R.E. also maintains an affiliation with Atlantic University. Through its many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. provides individuals from all walks of life and a variety of religious backgrounds with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels-body, mind, and spirit.
