A.R.E. Annual New Year's Conference - Our Spiritual Birthright:
The Transformative Power of Christ Consciousness

NewYears2013Virginia Beach, Va. - Usher in the New Year with a weekend of celebration and fellowship at the Association for Research and Enlightenment's (A.R.E.) annual New Year's conference. This year's event, Our Spiritual Birthright: The Transformative Power of Christ Consciousness, is December 29-31, 2012, at A.R.E. headquarters in Virginia Beach. Christ Consciousness emphasizes the Oneness of all things—specifically the Oneness of God. This Consciousness, referenced in several readings given by Edgar Cayce, was also referred to as "the pattern for every man in the earth, whether he be Gentile or Jew…" (Edgar Cayce reading 3528-1). In this spiritually enlightening event, learn how the Edgar Cayce material distinguishes between Jesus the Man and Christ the consciousness; and, how awakening this innate pattern within can promote positive change in your life.

In addition to an exciting celebration with music, dancing, fellowship, food, party favors, and fun, followed by peaceful midnight meditation, all guests will have a special opportunity to experience a lively evening with Peter Woodbury, MSW, presenting his renowned first-person portrayal of Edgar Cayce. "Mr. Cayce" will share his personal walk with the Master as well as wisdom, insight, and humor as he answers questions from the audience. Woodbury is joined by Ellen Cayce, who worked as an A.R.E. staff member for more than 15 years and will lead a special World Peace meditation; Kevin J. Todeschi, A.R.E. executive director and CEO, who will share an A.R.E. year-in-review, plans for the new Cayce-Miller Café, and an update on the future of the Cayce work; Jerry Lazarus, MA, spiritual counselor, author, and speaker; and Kathy Callahan, PhD, A.R.E. author and speaker. This spiritually uplifting event is a great way to springboard into 2013—make this event a New Year's tradition!

Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries-all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center and Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massotherapy, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to our conferences to hear expert speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. A.R.E. also maintains an affiliation with Atlantic University. Through its many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. provides individuals from all walks of life and a variety of religious backgrounds with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels-body, mind, and spirit.
