Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. Awarded Charity Navigator’s Top 4-Star Rating

Four Star Charity Virginia Beach, Va.: Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E) has been awarded the prestigious 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest and most- utilized independent evaluator of charities. The coveted rating is based on a multi-dimensional score designed to help donors identify the highest performing charities based on their financial health and the organization’s accountability and transparency across several broad criteria including how much is spends per dollar raised, what percentage of funds go to programs versus administration, and an organization’s long-term financial health according to Charity Navigator, providing donors with greater confidence in top-rated organizations. A.R.E. scored 61.18 out of a possible 70, earning the highest 4-star rating.

Edgar Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce, who died in 1945. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the readings.
