What Is the New Year’s Youth Conference?

Youth New Years c  11.12.2012The A.R.E. Youth will be offering two programs for Teens and Young Adults this New Year’s. Youth participants can expect to share meals and grow together through spiritual and personal exploration; all while living an enriching and meaningful Cayce-centric lifestyle. Come experience the magic of living ocean-side as we ring in 2013. And don’t forget your dancing shoes for the New Year’s Eve party at the A.R.E.!

Attendees at the Teen Retreat will be participating in specially designed workshops focused on Edgar Cayce’s ideas on Mind, Body, and Spirit through the exploration of the Cayce readings, ideals, body and energy work, and spirituality. The week will be facilitated by an a talented staff with specialized experience in presenting the Cayce material to young people, as well as a few surprise guest speakers!

Young Adult Residential Retreat
Comparative Religions (ages 18 – 30+)
Thursday, December 27 – Tuesday, January 1

Attendees at the Young Adult Retreat will be spending the week with Ann Duncan, Professor of Comparative Religions at Goucher College. They will be focusing on the major world religions and the basic tenets of each faith. Using this as a launching pad, they will then embark on guided discussions of their own beliefs and spirituality, incorporating the Cayce material as they expand their horizons.
