ARE Camp Arizona

Dates:Saturday, August 9 - Friday, August 15 | Fees | Register

In Summer 2008, the A.R.E. is once again offering a chance to experience a part of nature filled with the incredible scenic views of the Grand Canyon, and the beautiful terrain around Flagstaff and Sedona Arizona.

The Program:

Leslie and Charles Thomas Cayce will be leading us this week while we explore "Edgar Cayce and God in Nature." Every day will feature a simple lifestyle based on the Edgar Cayce readings ~ Cayce diet, music/singing, and meditation.

We will be visiting Sedona and partaking in day hikes in the Grand Canyon. There will also be several additional options, such as exploring ancient Indian ruins and stargazing at world-class Lowell Observatory.

This is an opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon and see this beautiful part of our country; to study and live by concepts in the Cayce readings with like-minded people.

The Accommodations:

We will be housed in a 'Hogan' where there are three bedrooms, an upstairs loft area with 10 beds, a kitchen, dining/meeting room and 3.5 bedrooms. Families with children ages 6 and over and adults without children are invited to attend. The hiking will be moderately strenuous.
Visit the Arizona Mountain Inn web site.

The Facilitators:

Charles Thomas and Leslie CayceCharles Thomas Cayce is a grandson of Edgar Cayce, and one of the A.R.E.’s most popular presenters. He was president of the Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc. (A.R.E.) for nearly thirty years where he worked to bring a holistic philosophy of management. He remains president of the Edgar Cayce Foundation and a member of A.R.E.’s Board of Trustees. His expertise lies in the potential of our mind, relationships, meditation, dealing with stress creatively, and the integration of spirituality into our daily lives.

Leslie Cayce has been active in the A.R.E. since 1972. As a volunteer and staff person, she has been part of the A.R.E. Camp staff, a sharing group leader, Youth and Family Life manager, and most recently, manager of Headquarters Conferences for the past six years until her retirement in the fall of 2006.
