During this five-day, extended weekend retreat for people ages 18 to 30, we practice incorporating the Cayce principles into our daily lives. Our program allows participants to explore community living, meditation, ideals, and service. At this time in our lives we find ourselves searching for our life-paths, and Dancing the Path offers the opportunity for us to develop the skills and wisdom to find them. With the gentle guidance of our resource person, we bring the words of Edgar Cayce to life through workshops and discussions, prayer and meditation, hiking, music and cooking, all in the beautiful Camp valley. Join us this year when we will be focusing on meditation and nature. "Make for the raising of the attunement in self through meditation" (Edgar Cayce Reading 707-1) We are excited to welcome Sherry Ellms as our resource person. For the past 25 years, Sherry has been conducting retreats and teaching meditation in secular settings such as Outward Bound, as well as in spiritual settings throughout the country. Sherry is a long time meditation practitioner and student of Choygam Trungpa, Rinpoche. She facilitates earth based experiences and their application to leadership, earth stewardship, and personal sustainability. She leads wilderness solos and other nature based programs that facilitate a deep connection with the power and insight of the natural world. We have tried hard to keep fees low for this program so financial need will not be a factor. We hope you'll join us this summer! Cabin spaces are limited, so please be sure to register early.
