Nora started an Edgar Cayce Center in Buenos
Aries, Argentina in 1999. After a lifetime interest in spiritual
and metaphysical subjects, Nora became acquainted with Edgar
Cayce in the mid-1990's while studying astrology. She then
sought all the information and books on Edgar Cayce she could
find. Nora has a University degree in English, has taught English
and teaches Spanish to foreigners to Argentina. She has recently
been specializing in medical astrology in her private astrological
practice.
Currently, the Edgar Cayce Center conducts
spiritual growth groups including meditation. One of these
groups is comprised of professionals including an anthropologist,
an economist and another teacher of English. The group is conducted
in Spanish and English.
Nora describes one of the major challenges
to distributing the work of Edgar Cayce in Argentina is dispelling
the perception that it is witchcraft. She and her colleagues
counter this notion by focusing on practical application of
the Edgar Cayce readings. She indicates progress with this
including the formation of additional study groups and visits
from a well known journalist for a holistic health publication
and another journalist seeking to feature Nora's groups' work
on the radio.
Nora is corresponding via email with Spanish
speaking people around the world that are interested in the
Edgar Cayce readings. The Center in Argentina, with Nora's
leadership is developing programs and materials in cooperation
with three other South American Edgar Cayce Center in Uruguay,
Ecuador, and Chile.
