The Institute offers three tracks of study in which students may earn certificates. You may earn one, two, three or more certificates. Or you may take courses without having a certificate as a goal.
     Please note that certificates build on each other -- you have to earn the introductory ones before we can award you the advanced ones. However, you can always begin work on a more advanced certificate before you complete the work on an introductory one.
     The following information explains the certificates available and the requirements for earning each certificate.

Personal Competency Certificate Tracks

          An inspiring, fun journey to developing your intuition for your own personal life

     The certificates in this track will help you systematically improve your intuitive skills. As you progress, you will discover that you can more creatively use your abilities in your daily life, in your chosen career field, and in discovering and expressing your artistic and creative talents. By achieving certification you gain the assurance that experts in the field have determined that you are making progress. You are completing a set of learning objectives that represent significant and meaningful growth in the area of intuitive development.

     The three levels of competency are:
          Basic Personal Competency Certificate
          Intermediate Personal Competency Certificate
          Advanced Personal Competency Certificate

Intuition Trainer/Educator Certificate Tracks

          Learn ways to teach others to develop their intuition.
          (And also learn more yourself in the process.)

     The certificates in this track help you to:
     * develop presentation skills so you can teach others how to better understand and use their intuitive abilities
     * develop a significant intellectual understanding of intuitive functioning
     * handle the business practices of the professional trainer

     The reputation of the Institute adds to the external value of the certificate and will prove helpful in the solicitation of work opportunities.

     The two levels of competency are:
          Qualified Trainer Certificate
          Advanced Trainer Certificate

Advanced Intuitive Training Certificate Tracks

          For those desiring to become a professional intuitives.

     The certificates in this track are specifically designed for individuals who want to become professional psychics/intuitives. They will help you learn advanced intuition tools and techniques and gain further confidence in your ability to serve the population through intuitive work. Apprenticing with one of our experienced mentors will provide a much needed source of on-on-one training, modeling, and supervised growth.
     The requirements of the certificate add to your credibility and effectiveness as a professional intuitive who is offering services to the public and insure that you will be able to make meaningful public presentations of your work. The reputation of the Institute will add to the value of the certificate, and the research processes leading to certification will advance public awareness, knowledge, and understanding of your role as a professional intuitive and the contributions you can make to society.
     If you earn one or both of these certificates, you will become a "research associate" of the Edgar Cayce Institute for Intuitive Studies. We will continue to network with you and follow your career as together we explore the unfolding role and service possibilities of professional intuitives in our 21st century world.

     The two levels of competency are:
          Advanced Intuitive Training Certificate–Level I
          Advanced Intuitive Training Certificate–Level II

Additional Study Options

Non-Certificate Participants
     You may attend training programs and take courses to improve your own intuitive skills without enrolling in a formal course of study leading toward a certificate.

Academic Credit Option
     If you are enrolled at Atlantic University or another university, you may be able to take advantage of the Institute's unique educational resources to develop a course-for-credit that would not otherwise be available at your college or university. Details of how your might design such a course need to be worked out with the school that will grant you the academic credit and the degree.
