Community Outreach
The Community Outreach program was created to promote the value of social responsibility in
our students and allow them opportunities to give back to the community through selfless service.
The Cayce/Reilly School strives to instill a service-minded approach in our students and for them
to enjoy partaking in community activities and events. It is our belief that student learning,
interpersonal skills and professional development increases when students are investing out-of-
class time and energy in educationally purposeful activities and offering their services to our
community members. Our Community Outreach also offers us the opportunity to educate the
public about the benefits of therapeutic massage and bodywork and to network and participate
with other non-profit organizations, charities and fundraisers. As a community service,
Cayce/Reilly students offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including chair massage,
Cayce/Reilly massage, sports massage and foot reflexology. Some of our community partnerships
include: Hampton Roads Caregiver Coalition, Virginia Beach General Hospital, Shamrock
Marathon, Neptune Festival, Emergency Medical Services personnel of Virginia and employees of
Home Depot.
