Unearthing the Treasures from the Vault
A new video mini-series from Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. and the Edgar Cayce Foundation.
The Edgar Cayce Foundation recently moved into the new state-of-the-art Education Center in Virginia Beach with a huge vault to store the wealth of information that continues to grow. Put on your white gloves, and let’s take a tour of the Vault. The video tour is hosted by Sidney Kirkpatrick, author of Edgar Cayce: An American Prophet, considered the definitive biography of Edgar Cayce who was given complete access to Edgar Cayce's correspondence, and even spent one night locked inside the Vault.
In this mini-series episodes of the video, we’ll peek inside the vault and gain new insight into the Work of Edgar Cayce. You’ll see the Black Books that held the suggestions to put Mr. Cayce into trance, see gemstones often recommended for their vibratory nature, and even find a screen play written for actress Gloria Swanson entitled “The Bride of the Incals.” We’ll pull out old inventions such as the Aurascope which could be used to see the aura and diagnose illness; the Violet Ray, used to improved circulation by stimulation to the nervous and circulatory systems; and an Etheronic Device to harness the “Etheronic Forces” it could be ‘tuned’ to read the Akashic Records which are recorded on the ether. Finally, we’ll discover Life Seals and Aura Charts and discuss the original Prayer Group Readings including those given for a group of individuals who requested readings on the subject of soul growth and how they could do what Mr. Cayce did (Series 262). The essays on the group’s experiences were later compiled into two books, A Search for God, Book I and Book II plus the 281 Prayer Series given for the Glad Helpers.
In February 1948, the Edgar Cayce Foundation (ECF) was chartered to provide sole permanent legal and physical custody of the historical archives of A.R.E. and of Edgar Cayce's life. Its vault houses original copies of the readings, correspondence, original stenographer notebooks, papers, manuscripts, historical photos, sound and video recordings, and many unique artifacts of the Edgar Cayce legacy.
