Low Energy?  Recharge Your Body's Battery  
     Do you ever wish you were like the little pink rabbit that just keeps going and going?  Maybe that is the problem.  Maybe that is the problem.  Sometimes we just keep going and going, but unlike the energized little bunny, our battery does run down.  This article contains several practical suggestions for recharging your body's battery. 
 
Red Wine 
     Drinking moderate amounts of red wine may be good for your heart.  Recent studies suggest that part of the explanation is pigments known as polyphenols that are abundent in red wine.  Edgar Cayce recommended that red wine be taken with dark bread as a medicine to create more vitality in the system.
 
 
The Placebo Debate: Is The Placebo Divine Healing? 
     Over the decades numerous studies have apparently established that using placebo treatments can produce positive outcomes in 30-40 percent of cases.  However, recent research has called into question the validity of the placebo.  A deeper, more spiritual dynamic may be at work.  The placebo debate may encourage further scientific exploration of the innate, divine aspects of healing. 
 
Heart Can Regenerate 
     Overturning medical dogma, researchers have demonstrated that the body can heal the heart. 
 
Health Costs Climb 
     A report released in January indicates that national health spending shot up 6.9 percent to $1.3 trillion in 2000.  Since high health cost has been one of the main factors in the promotion of of alternative medicine, look for these trends to continue. 
 
Small Doses of Olive Oil 
     A reader shares his story of how taking small doses of olive oil healed his colon. Edgar Cayce often recommended small doses of medicines and mild treatments of various natures to assist the body in healing.  The principle of minimal dosage can also be applied to allopathic medicines.
