Tour the Giza Plateau, with its three great pyramids, queen's pyramids, Isis Temple, Sphinx, Valley Temple, and panorama view, including private meditation time in the Great Pyramid. Enjoy a camel ride on the plateau and visit a papyrus shop (Optional visit to perfume factory). Dine at Le Meridien Hotel and overnight at the Mena House. (BLD)
October 29: Tour
Sakkara, including Mere Ruka's tomb, with its beautiful painted walls; Teti's Pyramid, with its ancient text and starry ceiling; the Jubilee Temple of Pharaoh Djoser; then on to Dahsfur, with its three amazing pyramids: the Red, "Bent," and Black Pyramid and visit a carpet factory and a jewelry shop. Breakfast at hotel, lunch in Sakkara. Dinner in Le Meridien. Overnight at the Mena House. (BLD)
October 30: Tour
the magnificent Egyptian Museum in Cairo, have lunch on the Nile, and visit the Zeitoun Church. Fly to Luxor in the evening. (BLD)
October 31: Enjoy a day at leisure in Luxor. In the evening, watch the Karnack sound-and-light show. (BLD)
November 1: Visit
the mammoth Karnak temple (over 60 acres, largest temple in ancient Egypt). Lunch along the Nile. Visit
the beautiful Luxor temple, laid out in the pattern of the human body. Visit
a T-shirt shop for embroidered, personalized cartouches, and a bookshop. (BLD)
November 2: Visit
the Valley of the Kings, Queens, and Artisans. Here you will visit the beautifully painted tombs, the temple of Hatshepsut (the famous female pharaoh), the large Habu temple of Ramases III, and a statue shop. Free late afternoon and evening. (BLD)
November 3: Fly
from Luxor to Cairo (unless you continue your tour down the Nile.) (BLD)
November 4:
Fly from Cairo to JFK, Egypt Air MS 985. Arrive at JFK 3:30p.m.

in beautiful Aswan. Visit Phalie temple in the morning, and in the afternoon we will visit Elephantine Island, museum, and Khunom Temple via felucca boats (native sailboats). (BLD)

from Aswan to Abu Simbel in the morning. Visit the magnificent temple on Lake Nasser. Return to Cairo around 5p.m. and check in to the Jolie Ville Airport hotel. (BLD)
