We are fast approaching an important day in Atlantic University’s calendar of significant events: our Spring Convocation for purposes of hearing from students completing their Culminating Project. The celebratory event will be held at A.R.E. on May 10th, and we are expecting 8 students to make their presentations. An array of projects will be shared including: exploring the concept of Hope and how it impacts the experience of children with life threatening illness, their families, and their caregivers; a research project collecting descriptions of heaven from various sources and organizing them according to how they relate to Ken Wilber’s stages of consciousness – the idea is that as conscious grows, the idea of heaven evolves; and a creative service project with cancer patients and prisoners exploring the role of creativity for inner healing.

Decision Making Using Your Intelligent Heart, May 14 - June 10, mentored by Nancy Eubel.
Let rather that fill thy mind and heart which has been given of old, - that it is not who will ascend into heaven to bring us a message, - not who shall come from over the sea that we may hear and heed, - for Lo, the answer to ALL thy problems is in thine own heart! (262-121)

The Bible: A Handbook for Understanding Self, June 4 - July 1, mentored by Robert Krajenke.
... in thy reading of the Scriptures ... Read them not as history, read them not as axioms or as dogmas, but as of thine own being. For in the study of these ye will find that ye draw unto that force from which the writers of same gained their strength, their patience. (1173-8)
