The Edgar Cayce material offers a wealth of information on childrearing, development and education. The Cayce readings also discuss a variety of topics of interest to parents such as spiritual ideals and conception, talking to children about their psychic experiences, helping your child overcome fears, working with dreams and much more.

In addition to the programs and activities offered by A.R.E. Camp, the A.R.E. Youth and Family department provides educational materials and outreach to parents and youth in a variety of ways. In addition to school field trips, introducing Virginia Beach students to the work of Edgar Cayce, the department sponsors regular Y.E.S. (Youth Exemplifying Service) programs in which young people take part in field trips, potlucks, group discussions and service projects. There us also an annual Youth Congress held each June in Virginia Beach that corresponds with the annual Membership Congress. For more information, contact the A.R.E. There are so many wonderful ideas in the children's handbook. Every parent needs this. Television, talk shows, and parents magazines will not help you raise your child.
