How gracious is Thy presence in the earth, O Lord! Be Thou the guide, that we with patience may run the race which is set before us, looking to Thee, the Author, the Giver of light.

-- Edgar Cayce reading 262-24

THANK YOU for keeping the Cayce Light shining! Your generous donations helped bridge the financial gap that COVID-19 created for Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. Your prayers and your financial support have helped to see us through this turbulent period. We are truly grateful! As we begin to define the “new normal” and get back to business, we hope that you will help us envision a new, ideal future. Your donation to A.R.E.’s Source Fund will help do just that. Can you offer $150 today? Or join the Good Karma Club with a donation of $20 or more per month?  DONATE

Longtime member, generous philanthropist, and A.R.E. Prison Outreach program enthusiast, Richard Copeland passed away in June at the age of 98. His enthusiasm for the Edgar Cayce work led to major gifts for the renovation of the Edgar Cayce Hospital Building (the Copeland Dining Room is named after him), as well as endowments for Prison Outreach and the general operations of the organization. An avid reader, Richard underwrote re-publications of numerous Cayce books, including Edgar Cayce's Story of the Bible and Edgar Cayce on the Dead Sea Scrolls. He often said his dream was to get the Cayce material into the hands of as many prisoners as possible, as that information would change them and give them hope. A resident of Pine Island, Florida, where he loved to fish, he grew up in Hampton, Virginia, served in WWII at a radar station in San Diego, was head of Admissions at Radford College, earned an EdD in math education, and was a college professor who wrote two books on teaching math to children. Richard was an amazing role model and advocate for the Cayce work. He will be truly missed.
