AFFIRMATION FOR JUNE
How excellent is Thy name in the earth, O Lord! Would I have fellowship with Thee, I must show brotherly love to my fellow man. Though I come in humbleness and have aught against my brother, my prayer, my meditation, does not rise to Thee. Help Thou my efforts in my approach to Thee.
-- Edgar Cayce reading 262-21
This is my update for June 2018 to A.R.E. members and friends who are interested in the new and exciting trends occurring within Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. and Atlantic University. A number of exciting things are happening this month! Please share the following with your friends:
2018 CONGRESS A GREAT SUCCESS!
The 87th Annual Membership Congress was a fantastic success. More than 275 individuals attended and took part in a variety of lectures, presentations and social activities. Many participants said it “was one of the best Congress events ever!” Mark your calendars for next year’s Congress, scheduled for June 16—21, 2019.
NEW REFLECTIONS ONLINE
Peter Woodbury interviewed Freddy Silva for our latest Reflections Show. Freddy Silva is one of the world’s leading researchers of ancient systems of knowledge, crop circles, and the interaction between temples and consciousness. He is also the bestselling author of Secrets in the Fields. He has appeared on numerous television programs, documentaries, and radio shows. A regular presenter at A.R.E. HQ Conferences, past attendees say of Silva: “Brilliant.” “He is a powerful speaker—please bring him back!” Well, we are! He will be at our 2018 Annual Ancient Mysteries Conference.

NEW CAYCE SERIES BOOK
We just released a new Cayce Series book featuring readings on the topic of Creation & Evolution. Cayce presents some unique ideas about the purpose of Creation and the ultimate end of evolution that may be challenging to proponents of both sides of the argument. The Cayce readings on creation and evolution are ultimately about the fact that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience—the main goal of earthly experience being to somehow bring “spirit” into the earth.

Summer 2018 at A.R.E. Camp has begun! The season kicked off with a spectacular start during Garden Weekend and Construction Camp, where we were joined by a joyfully robust group of volunteers who worked hard to help us open Camp for the season. We enjoyed the first of the garden produce and had plenty of time for play and relaxing conversation, too! The good news for YOU is that there is still time to register for your amazing get-a-way at A.R.E. Camp! We still have space available in our Children’s, Family, and Adult Sessions! Give this gift to your child or your entire family and expand your mind, body, and soul. At A.R.E. Camp, you will fill your days with meditation, workshops, arts and crafts, late afternoon swims in the pond, plentiful home-cooked, family-style meals full of veggies from our organic garden, long conversations with new friends, and hikes through Blue Ridge Mountain paradise. NATIONAL OUTREACH VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
I am pleased to announce that Judith Stevens has accepted the position of National Outreach Volunteer Manager. In this newly-created position, Judith will manage the National Outreach Program and the Prison Outreach Program. Levan Burgin, our National Outreach Coordinator, will work with Judith to not only support existing area teams around the country, but to create new teams in areas that need them, and develop new materials for the teams and others in the field. The goal of this new effort is to reenergize and “feed” our field volunteers, rebuild a vibrant system of Study Groups across the country and bring into the Work new and old volunteers who have been touched by the same material that means so much to each of us. To accomplish these important goals, National Outreach will work closely in a coordinated HQ “Team” effort that includes input from Study Groups, Conferences, the Development Office, and other departments as the needs arise. Your prayers are invited to help reenergize our National Volunteer Outreach. To contact Judith directly, email: Judith.firstname.lastname@example.org.

CELEBRATE THE SOURCE
As you’ve heard, the A.R.E General Fund has been renamed “The Source Fund” in honor of the Universal Source accessed by Edgar Cayce. That beautiful, wise Source is the philosophical foundation of this Cayce Work. The new Source Fund is the financial foundation upon which the A.R.E. depends and thrives. In celebration of The Source Fund, you can make a $100 or more donation “In Honor Of” or “in Memory Of” a loved one, friend, or mentor who has been an inspiration to you at EdgarCayce.org/donate.
