MEDIA GUIDELINES

The A.R.E. welcomes the opportunity to work with the media. We are committed to cooperating with representatives of the news media in legitimate, news-gathering activities. All requests from the media for information should be directed to the Public Information Department.
Media on Site
The goal of the A.R.E. Media Guidelines is to provide information that is accurate, official and consistent. All on site interviews, photographs, television and news-gathering requests must be approved in advance through the Public Information Department. The taking of photos, video or filming on the A.R.E. campus is strictly prohibited unless prior approval has been obtained.
For Programs and Conferences
- Press Passes are provided on an as-available basis to journalists of recognized news outlets who are on assignment. Journalists must represent recognized daily or weekly newspapers; news services; recognized trade publications; national/regional radio and television networks; local radio and television stations; and/or recognized Internet sites. Freelance journalists and photographers must provide proof of assignment.
- Photos and videos taken by journalists to accompany a story surrounding Edgar Cayce or the A.R.E. are to be used for that specific story or publication only and copies of these images be provided to the A.R.E. whenever possible.
- Each member of a broadcast crew must register separately.
- Companions and other non-credentialed guests of media representatives are not eligible for media registration.
