A Meditative Concert Experience featuring Renee Armand with cellist Jenny Lynn Young

Virginia Beach, Va. –Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. is pleased to announce a special performance “Listen: A Meditative Concert Experience” with Renee Armand and cellist Jenny Lynn Young on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at the Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. Headquarters.

As an Academy Award winning recording artist and songwriter, Renee’s songs have been recorded by Michael Jackson, John Denver, Mama Cass, and more. She’s performed with John Denver, Emmy Lou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Aaron Neville, Michael Jackson, and Ringo Starr.

“It is not just a meditation or a performance. The universe is not just made of light - it is made of music. We vibrate together with holy sound in every cell of our bodies and with our souls.”

Inspired by her work with the Course In Miracles for over 25 years, Renee’s album, Listen, came quietly and persistently without warning or preparation. Her living performance of the Work is spontaneous and inclusive, never limited to any specific spiritual path or belief system. The performance relies on the presence of the souls gathered together in joy and peace, all contributing to remembering who we really are.

Renee and cellist Jenny Lynn Young will be preforming at the A.R.E. for this once-in-a-lifetime immersive meditative experience. Tickets are just $15 and can be purchased by visiting or calling the Bookstore at 757-457-7231.

Music should be a part of each soul's development.

                           -Edgar Cayce reading 2780-3

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the “father of holistic medicine” because of his prolific psychic readings addressing the health of the body.  For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce was sought after by thousands seeking help with issues of the body, mind, or spirit. Cayce founded the non-profit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in 1931, to explore spirituality, holistic health, intuition, dream interpretation, psychic development, reincarnation, and ancient mysteries—all subjects that frequently came up in the more than 14,000 documented psychic readings given by Cayce. The mission of A.R.E. is simply to help people around the world change their lives for the better through the ideas and information found in the Cayce readings. The Virginia Beach headquarters is a popular site for locals and tourists with free daily lectures, a Health Center & Spa, the Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage, an extensive metaphysical library, a meditation garden, a stone labyrinth, and a bookstore and gift shop. Visitors from around the world come to experience conferences featuring speakers on subjects like ancient mysteries, holistic health, and spiritual development. The campus is also home to Atlantic University, which offers two masters degrees (Transpersonal Studies and Leadership Studies) through an online platform, as well as continuing education and certificate programs. Through A.R.E.’s many programs, services, publications, and membership outreach, individuals from all walks of life and religious backgrounds are provided with tools for personal transformation and healing at all levels—body, mind, and spirit.
