The following is from an adapted transcript of remarks from Mr. Cayce when it was agreed to form a new organization on March 28, 1931. This organization was to become the Association for Research and Enlightenment.
Friends, I hardly know how to express myself at seeing each one of you here this afternoon. While we come together for a very definite purpose, I believe that you will say when you have left it was an unusual meeting. It is not that we may know how to carry on the work that I have doing and you have been interested in, but as to whether we shall carry on the work. Each one of you have signified by your coming here that it shall be carried on, that it must be carried on.
