A.R.E. Library Renovations are Almost Complete!

We are still working on the Josh Coleman Family Room and furnishing the Library but we wanted to share what has been accomplished so far.

The contractors used the 1975 “book brigade” technique of creating a line of people to pass the books one by one to each other as they moved almost 80,000 books and all of the existing shelves to different areas so the library could be painted and carpeted and then repeated the process to put everything back into place.

We were even able to make more room to add new books and materials in the future. So future generations will have access to YOUR beloved library.

Here’s a time lapse video of the renovation process enjoy!
