Thank you for registering for an A.R.E. Camp Session! 

We are so happy to have your registration for camp! Before you embark on your adventure, we will need you to complete registration forms. Please locate your session below for details and follow the links to fill and submit the required documents BEFORE you arrive at A.R.E. Camp. The sooner we receive your registration forms, the better!

The physical address of Camp is 283 White Rock Furnace Road, Rural Retreat, VA 24368 – follow the gravel road past the mailboxes for about a mile and enjoy the scenery! There are more detailed directions of how to get to Camp in the A.R.E. Camp Handbookbut if you happen to find yourself lost on the road, feel free to call Camp at 276-686-4031.

You will also need to complete the hard copy medical history/physical exam form. Please download and print this form.

If you have more than one child attending, please complete a separate set of electronic and health hard copy forms for each camper. You can send the completed health form to malenka@edgarcayce.org or, bring the form with you when you drop your camper off.

The program will officially begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. on the Sunday of your session’s beginning. We welcome you to arrive in the afternoon any time after 2 p.m. to help your Camper move into his or her bunk, meet the counselors, and settle in. If you find yourself running late, feel free to give the Camp a call at 276-686-4031. Since this may be your Camper’s first time away from home, we welcome you to bring some homey comfort items (favorite bedding, a special stuffed friend, a favorite toy or instrument) to ease the transition. We’ll have everything else on hand to provide an incredible time in mountain paradise!

The program will officially end with breakfast on the Saturday that your Camper’s week/s come to a close, and we ask that you come pick up your happy and adventure-weathered campers before 11a.m.

**If your Camper is joining us for the weeklong hike after Week Three, we’ll make sure that they have all of their gear ready to go and our hike will depart after breakfast on Saturday. You will need to pick your Camper up at the end of the weeklong hike by 11 a.m. on the following Saturday.
