PRESENTATION DETAILS:
The Power of Affirmations featuring M.E. Hart, JD
Affirmations can help us change our mind, mood, and health, and reach new levels of awareness and happiness. Edgar Cayce gave over a hundred affirmations to people seeking physical, mental, or spiritual help. Dynamic presenter M.E. Hart explores the importance of affirmations in the readings and helps you create your own personal affirmation for inspiration and guidance.
Knowing and Living Your Ideal featuring Lora Little, EdD
According to Edgar Cayce, ideals are forceful motivating factors in our lives. They are at work whether we realize it or not. Knowing and living by your ideal can help you discover new life directions, attain a more positive self-image, and help you establish your true identity. Life-long Cayce student and teacher Lora Little MEd explores this important concept and helps you shape your ideal and use it to “take the wheel” of your life’s journey.
Importance of Meditation and the Lord’s Prayer featuring Judith Stevens
Meditation is the practice of quieting our physical bodies and our minds, and focusing our attention inward instead of upon the world around us. Edgar Cayce recommended a regular daily practice of meditation to aid in spiritual attunement and believed that prayer was talking to God, while meditation was listening to God. This presentation by Judith Stevens will explore these concepts and also guide you through an insightful experiential meditation session.
Know Thyself: Returning to Wholeness featuring Karen Boldt
The phrase "know thyself" was immortalized by the Greeks at Delphi's Temple of Apollo. Written as an inscription over the entrance to the temple, visitors from throughout the known world came to Delphi seeking the wisdom of the god Apollo. This search to know one's self is often mirrored in ancient stories, fables and fairy tales that seek insights to the very human question, "Who am I?" Edgar Cayce also urged seekers to “Know thyself if ye would know thy God, if ye would be of a service to thy brother." (Reading 1256-1) , advising that every individual should undertake this inner search for their own soul development.
Walking the Sacred Path featuring M.K. Welsch
Every person on this planet is on a sacred journey, and that journey is about you and your path to enlightenment. Each of us plays a role in the changes that occur in our lives and the lives of others on the earth plane. What will you do with your role here on earth? Edgar Cayce tell us that Jesus is our Master-teacher and our “elder brother”—a role model who left behind a sacred path for us to follow. M.K. Welsch explores what it means to be on this sacred journey and how the Cayce readings and the teachings of our “elder brother” can provide direction and meaning.
The Seven-Year Cycle, the Body Temple, and You featuring Adrian E. Castillo LMT
The Cayce readings tell us that “For, have ye not heard how that…the body has in a seven-year cycle reproduced itself entirely?”(Reading 257-249), and that we can strive toward continual spiritual and physical improvements during this cycle by working with the “mind as builder” and by keeping our attitudes and emotions positive and in line with our ideals and goals. We must unite the spirit, mind, and body to achieve to achieve true change, working cooperatively within ourselves and with others, and in this presentation, long-time Cayce student Adrian E. Castillo LMT brings these principles to life.
