Spirituality for Busy People featuring Mark Thurston, PhD
We think of our own times as uniquely stressful, demanding, and confusing – conditions that make it hard to find peace of mind and to support a life devoted to spiritual growth.  And surely the turbulence of today’s world does make it challenging to be centered and soulful; but the era in which Edgar Cayce gave his readings were at least as difficult.  The Depression Era, World War II, incurable illnesses that we now regard as easily treatable.   In fact, the Cayce readings contain profound teachings and advice for our 21st century world about what it means to sustain a life of Spirit even in the midst of busy-ness, uncertainty, and discord.

Dr. Thurston’s presentations will offer a program based on the Cayce material about how to

  • cultivate resilience and well-being,
  • deepen one’s meditation practice,
  • transform limiting attitudes and emotions, and
  • make a stronger connection to one’s own mission in life.

The emphasis will be on practices and approaches that take only a few minutes a day – methods and strategies from the Cayce readings that can be applied even by the busiest person.
